Meet the Founder

Dr. Martin Husovec – Academic Lead

Dr. Martin Husovec is an Associate Professor of Law at the London School of Economics (LSE) and the founder of the Platform Regulation Academy — a dedicated space for independent, high-quality training and regulatory insights for professionals and stakeholders.

For nearly 15 years, Martin has been researching and teaching platform regulation, shaping the conversation at the intersection of law, technology, and policy. As an attorney, he has represented civil society interveners before the Court of Justice of the European Union in landmark platform regulation cases. In 2024, he authored Principles of the Digital Services Act (Oxford University Press), one of the first comprehensive books on the DSA.

Internationally recognised for his expertise in platform regulation, Martin combines deep academic knowledge with practical experience from litigation and policy work. His teaching style is known for blending rigorous legal analysis with practical case studies, making complex regulations clear, actionable, and relevant for today’s professionals.
